The categories contested in the competition were the Brownies Category for members aged between seven and 12, the Girl Guides and Rangers for participants aged 13 to 16, Young Leaders Category for members aged between 17 to 21, Leaders Category for participants aged 22 and above and the Council/Commissioner Category for members over 30 years of age.
Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pg Anak Hajah Saleha presented prizes to winners of the Girl Guides National Al-Quran Reading Competition. One of the winners was Cg Hajah Masnah.
Cg Hjh Masnah won third prize (the Council/Commissioner Category).
